Lydia Carson

Lydia Carson is the Vice President of Innovation Systems at Eureka! Ranch.  A straight shooter known for getting the job done, she excels at helping others succeed and is renowned at the Ranch for her laser focus.

Prior to joining the Ranch, Lydia held engineering, R&D, and leadership positions at Ford Motor Company, Lexmark International, and the National Institute of Standards of Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).  She also founded and served as President and CEO of Balm Innovations, LLC, a University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Arkansas BioVentures firm established to commercialize Omnibalm, a topical cream for skin irritations developed by a UAMS pharmaceutical researcher.

Since joining Eureka! Ranch, Lydia has helped companies across diverse industries develop breakthrough products, services, and systems. Her experience spans manufacturing, B2B, pharmaceuticals, automotive, aerospace, defense, food service, and more.

Lydia received a mechanical engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Executive MBA program.  She is passionate about learning and has received numerous certifications, including Innovation Engineering Black Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, and ISO 9000 Lead Auditor.
