It seems easy enough.  If you need help with innovation, you go to a class and learn.  If your culture isn't innovative, you train them.  If you need to inspire a more innovative spirit, you bring in a motivational speaker.

These are often the first instinct answers when someone asks, "How do I get my people to be more innovative?"

The trouble is, if you follow the path above you'll often do more harm than good!
